Really disappointing experience from a place I used to love

I’m honestly pretty disappointed with my experience at Frosty’s Grill and Chill in Marysville today. I used to go here all throughout high school and absolutely loved this place. The food and shakes were always great, and I had nothing but good things to say about them. I hadn’t been back in about a year since graduating high school, so I was actually looking forward to coming back.

Unfortunately, today’s experience was extremely disappointing.

We tried ordering three different milkshake flavors initially, but were told they didn’t have any of them, even though those flavors were still being advertised. We finally ordered a Toasted Marshmallow medium milkshake and an Almond Roca medium milkshake. When we got home, we discovered that both milkshakes were just vanilla and were not what we ordered.

The customer service was also very disappointing. I completely understand that a business can run out of certain flavors or ingredients — that happens. But if something isn’t available, it should probably be removed from the menu or clearly communicated to the customer. And if the order can’t be made as requested, we should at least be told rather than receiving something completely different.

What bothers me most is that I remember this place being so good when I went here throughout high school. I genuinely loved coming here, which is why it was even more disappointing to come back after about a year and have such a poor experience.

I’m not leaving this review just to bash the business. I’m leaving it because I used to really like this place, and I hope management sees this feedback and works on improving the customer service and making sure customers receive what they actually order.

Coming from out of town, was hungry on the way and stopped by here. The employees were so nice and chill, and they LOADED me up with ice cream. Got a soft serve from McDonald’s yesterday for the same price, got half the ice cream for the same price. The ice cream tastes better too. Definitely will come back if i can.
