This is an on airport cafe with a deck over the flight line. For pilots, it doesn’t get any better. For dinners it’s great view and great food. The potato chips are ordered by the whole potato so if you are monster hungry ask them to put two in the slicer! They make them to order. All the food is made from scratch and it’s excellent

The chorizo burrito at Flight Deck Grill is massive—seriously packed with so much flavorful meat and fillings that every bite feels loaded. It’s got a nice kick, tastes great, and for how big it is, the price is honestly hard to beat. So YUMMY! On top of that, the staff are genuinely kind and attentive, making you feel welcome and taken care of from the moment you walk in.

I stopped here for breakfast because it’s what Google Maps recommended. It’s a little hard to find because the restaurant is in the airport and you have to walk upstairs (although they have a bell you can ring to have food brought downstairs).
The food was average American breakfast food. We were the only guests eating but there were 5 people working – 3 adults and two kids. It seems like a family operation.
My complaints come after I paid – I paid at the counter and only received the receipt after paying. I kept a copy of the receipt but misplaced it – I hope to find it so I can file a charge back with my credit card company.
The waitress said they had tri tip as a special. I ordered a tri tip breakfast burrito (one of the specials). Their normal breakfast burrito comes with bacon and sausage but I mentioned that I only wanted tri tip. I even clarified with her when ordering – she said the usual burrito order would typically come with all 3 meats. Rather than substituting the tri tip on the bill, they charged me an extra $4 even though I asked for no bacon and no sausage. It was not a burrito worth $14 – the grease from the potatoes/grill kind of ruins the flavor.
The main reason I am annoyed is the bill came with a $1.50 “flat charge” – for what??? I didn’t notice this until we had left or I would have disputed the charge on the spot. This charge is not mentioned anywhere on their menu. It seems like a way to rip off guests.
I would also like my gratuity returned ($3.30) as I did not see the receipt until after paying and I would not have tipped had I seen the flat charge.
Limited menu, basic food, weird location. I would not eat here again.
