This review is to alert the owner that the bar staff avoids working at all costs. There were about 70 people there for karaoke night and 4 staff members there, often they were out front or in the back, literally no one behind the bar for large spans of time. And when they were behind the bar they would avoid eye contact while chatting with each other. My husband and I were shocked how they managed to avoid doing anything while everyone had empty glasses. You are losing so much money by not having good employees.
Place is cute, I wish you luck!
Walked in. Was told to sit myself. Waited 5 to 10 minutes. Nobody came over to talk to me so I left. I’m no fortune teller but I’m going to suggest that this place will be out of business in less than a year.
This is a very confused place. It’s presenting itself as an upscale specialty cocktail place with delicious small bites with an Indian fusion kick which is why we came here. It’s on the other side of Morgan Hill so very convenient to get to and away from the downtown crowd. They were out of fries on a Friday night, the cook had to go buy tortillas for the quesadilla and that got me concerned because I wondered how fresh the meat would be. I asked about and shared that I’ve worked in many bars and it could be a sign of either crazy busy selling out or you don’t move the food fast enough so you don’t replenish. The food was “fine”, not worth the price at all. The staff was nice enough, not overly helpful or nice, bare minimum. On the way out, I dropped my wallet and as I picked it up, there was a huge cobweb on it, then as I looked, there were cobwebs all over the table, chairs and wall where we were sitting. My family was loading up into the car so I discreetly got the bartender and showed her and said that she might want to let the crew know about it. She was so aloof and not apologetic or embarrassed at all, zero f’s given. Mind you, the tab had already been paid and a 20% tip given (too much for the bare minimum service we had gotten). So, not trying to get anything free, just trying to help. She couldn’t have cared less. Never going back.
First time visiting and had the worse experience. Bartender forgot about me told me she helped and ended up helping two other people’s after me. Took forever to get a beer. Karaoke music way too loud no acoustic panel music bouncing everywhere so terrible couldn’t even have a conversation with my friend who suggested the place. And no cash? So you can charge people a fee for using their cards/debit so unamerican. Thinking of going? Don’t worse place and experience ever.
This place was dead at around 7pm on a Friday night yet my $20 nachos took 20 minutes. The nachos were good though. So was the craft beer. Not accepting cash is borderline Un-American.
