Great experience with Jesus at Elite Auto, very professional, comfortable lounge area if you must wait for your service to be done. Very clean and orderly shop and lounge area which speaks volumes about the business. Highly recommended!

Very highly recommended.

We broke down a few miles north of Ukiah. Had a great tow truck driver and when we asked him for a mechanic recommendation he said his whole family uses Elite, the reviews online were good, so we went with them.

Our experience was excellent. I chatted with Marco on the phone before we arrived in the tow truck and explained the importance of getting our plan (had to be in SF by the next morning) back on track. Marco understood exactly what we needed (timely information so we could make a decision about rental cars, hotels, etc.) and we didn’t have much time to waste. They were clearly ready for us when we arrived as Marco started examining the car as it was rolling off the tow truck!

Marco and his team were professional and calm, and it made us feel calm as a result. In addition, they found time to make sure we had water, checked to see if the air conditioning in the office was comfortable, made sure we knew where to find restrooms, etc. A side note, but not really important, is that their shop, as well as their office, is really clean and organized. I spent most of the time watching the crew from a distance (mostly because I had a good guess as to what had happened and was pretty curious). Marco kept me updated with what they were finding and what it was looking like in terms of solutions.

They basically calmly and methodically worked through our issue. Their problem solving and thinking all was sound, and the issue was exactly what I thought it was (not that I could have fixed it myself). In the end, they actually got us back on the road that day. They saved us from hotels, rental cars, and stress.

When they presented me with the cost, I was very surprised. They knew exactly the situation we were in and they could have demanded any price they wanted. But they didn’t. They charged us less than the tow truck. They didn’t charge us any urgent/emergency rate. They charged us less than if I had gone to my local longtime mechanic with a scheduled appointment for the same repair!

As if that wasn’t enough, afterwards Marco asked if we had a few more spare minutes so that he could do a few safety checks of nuts/bolts etc. before we got back on the road, free of charge.

Obviously if I’m in need of any automotive services and I’m within a couple hundred miles of these guys, I’m going back to them.
