Finally made it early enough to try . They had one flavor left . The lady at the counter was great . Tried the chocolate with strawberry frosting. I was a little hesitant since I’m not a chocolate person but I was amazed. Cake like texture but unlike any donut I’ve had. I will definitely be back. Plus the black oak coffee is amazing too

8.30 on Wednesday and it was almost sold out! But we were able to get two coffee donuts . It’s definitely worth it getting here early to try these. Not greasy, chewy, great flavor, large donut. The drip coffee is also tasty

A bit misleading when a business posts open hours but is actually only “open until sold out”. Small batchse so they sell out early most mornings. get that it can feel “good” to have sold out or have customers asking for more of something but that along with the business hours posted probably makes for more disappointed people, and more than are actually leaving reviews for this place. In other words, there would be a lot more “got there but it was closed/sold out” complaints/lower star reviews, if it wasnt assumed that you need to eat the food to review a place. for service/atmosphere the owner usually has a stuck up attitude whenever we interact and always tries to push “a drink with that” despite being a regular that has never ever gotten one. Rarely see anyone enjoying their food/drinks at the shop. it’s pretty minimalist and lacking any sort of cozy atmosphere someone would expect with a donuts/coffee/morning shop. The donuts are really good usually though, a bit on the thick and large side. Most of the menu is rotating, based on days(available ingredients I’m assuming), and has some creative items on it that are fun to try out. rec the bread pudding if available 🙂

Do yourself a favor if you’re ever in Fort Bragg and stop in for a fresh donut. It’s a small place and the donuts are made in a single batch, so go early to get the best selection. In fact, go early or you may miss out entirely!

We were in the area for 4 days and had breakfast here twice. I highly recommend Fritter Friday… hands down the best donut I’ve ever had. A slight crisp on the outside, soft and warm in the middle, the glaze really brought out the apple flavor… delicious! The Mexican Chocolate was also a stand out; a bit of a spicy kick with a cinnamon sugar sprinkle that was somehow not too sweet. We also enjoyed the cinnamon rolls and a passion fruit glazed donut. I’m certain you can’t go wrong with any of the offerings here.

The proprietor seems to work alone, so please be patient, it’s worth the wait if there’s a line. And she was super nice and even gave us a heads up about the First Fridays event the downtown area had while we were there. 5 well-deserved stars all around!

These are the best donuts I’ve ever had. They are just really spectacular. The fruit glazes are made with real fruit. The raised donuts are wonderfully puffy and chewy at the same time. I tried their strawberry glazed and Meyer lemon glazed. Their cake donuts are out of this world. Soft and lovely. Their chocolate chocolate cake donuts were amazing. Like so tender and chocolatey. Also had the chocolate cake with strawberry glaze and that was just so great. I also had their London fog tea and it was so lovely.

If you are near or in fort Bragg, you have to go. You have to go early or you will have little to no selection. If they are closed when you get there, they probably sold out.

    You have to try it!

PS if you’re used to run of the mill donut shops, this may not be your place – it’s also a bit pricey but oh so worth it.
