We got home with our pick-up order and realized we didn’t get our orders of chips. We live pretty close by and so I popped back over. The person who helped me (very possibly the owner?) was extremely kind and not only filled our chip bags to overflowing, but offered us a hefty cup of guacamole with his sincerest apologies. It hadn’t been a big deal to us for a simple mistake, but his response was a big deal. It was above and beyond, and demonstrated the pride they take in their food and their service.

We had a fantastic meal at Dos Coyotes in Davis and absolutely loved it! The Southwestern flavors are fresh, bold, and perfectly executed every time. We went with the flame-broiled chicken tacos and a couple of their signature quesadillas, and they were packed with flavor-juicy, smoky, and paired with those amazing house salsas and chips that kept us coming back for more.
The portions are generous, the ingredients taste super fresh (you can tell they care about quality), and everything came out hot and fast. It’s a great spot for a casual dinner with friends or family-affordable, welcoming vibe, and the staff was super friendly. We left full and happy, already planning our next visit.
If you’re in Davis and craving tasty Border Cafe eats, this place delivers big time. Highly recommend! We’ll be back soon.

Cashier was awesome and the manager checking in on how the food is. Such an awesome place. The salsa bar was also constantly being replaced so it’s fresh as possible, as well as being super clean.

Longstanding Mexican restaurant in Davis that has been serving fresh and delicious food items for several decades. Festively decorated large interior that can seat large parties, and there are also several outdoor tables in the patio area. We have been enjoying their burritos, nachos, and salad bowls for many years. Fast and friendly staff. Large free parking lot.

Fresh delicious healthy food! The colorful atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing dinner! We ordered the Chicken fajita plate with grains and the Tres Taco plate. Everything was cooked nicely and the salsa bar is a plus! They have a variety of Veggie options also!
