Stayed here one night July 11, 2026. It was obvious they were renovating the place, so I thought this was a good sign. Wrong! After a few days the bites started to appear. Yes, the dreaded bedbug. The room looked clean all except for the carpet. The manager was very nice and I am sure this problem will be taken care of, but I would wait until they finish the renovations and hopefully put in new carpeting.

A decent place to stay. Nothing fancy, but it doesn’t have to be. My children and I needed a clean, quiet place to rest after driving for 8 hours. Check-in was fast and simple. I think we were the only guests that night. If we ever go back to Eureka, I might get a room there again.

It’s a clean, safe place. Some foundations for homeless people live here. It’s in a bad part of town, yet close to many businesses. The staff is kind. David, the manager, is great at keeping the motel safe and clean. Nice rooms.

We had to ask for another room because the first one smelled so disgusting there was no way we could sleep there. The second room was better, no carpeting probably helped. We slept on top of the comforter with all our clothes on just to be safe and every time we moved even a little the springs made a racquet. Hot water in the shower didn’t last long, but the wall heater worked well. Front desk lady was nice upon checkout. We just needed a place to sleep in a pinch that was cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.

The hotel is okay, at best. The room smelled liked cigarettes and the carpet felt a bit stick on my feet. It wasn’t awful though. No ac or ventilation in the room at all either. So it could be bad on a warmer night.
