I had a wonderful stay at Cowper Inn. Hugo and his wife were incredibly kind and welcoming hosts, always responsive and happy to help whenever I had a question. Hugo went out of his way to assist with anything I needed, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys hosting people.
The room was perfect and cozy, the location was excellent, and the entire experience was seamless and pleasant from start to finish. If I could give 10 stars out of 5, I would.

The Cowper Inn is perfectly located in the heart of Palo Alto, just a short walk from restaurants and coffee shops, yet tucked away in a მშვიდ and quiet neighbourhood. The property itself is beautifully laid out, with spacious and comfortable rooms that had everything we needed for our visit to Stanford University.
What truly made our stay exceptional was the host, Hugo. He is genuinely one of the kindest and most thoughtful hosts we’ve ever met. I accidentally left my handbag in the room while rushing to the airport, and Hugo went above and beyond—he contacted me immediately and kindly arranged for it to be delivered to me via an Uber driver.
His care and willingness to go the extra mile truly define what a “super host” should be. We are incredibly grateful and would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

It was absolutely welcoming to stay at Cowper Inn. I’ve stayed for 16 days straight. They had decent variety of food from Costco for breakfast. The owner, Mr. Hugo was considerate to everything we needed during the stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cowper Inn for a week in May. The room was nicely decorated, everything worked well. The staff was friendly and competent. The location is within an easy walk of many nice restaurants. We will be back!

Exceptional stay at Cowper Inn! We (20 people) resided here for two weeks, and we were thoroughly impressed. The hosts are outstanding, providing warm and attentive service. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, perfect for both short and extended stays.
The location is ideal – close to downtown Palo Alto and the train station, offering easy access to Stanford (via shuttle) and San Francisco (by train). The charming town adds to the overall experience.
Highly recommend this place for its excellent amenities, prime location, and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re visiting for business or pleasure, Cowper Inn is an excellent choice in the heart of Silicon Valley.
