We are on a long roadtrip, and wanted an old fashioned diner with some damn-good diner food, and that’s exactly what we found at Country Waffles! We ordered the cinnamon roll French toast, the Chik-Wich, and a plain waffle to share. For the two of us, this was far too much food, haha! All the food was great, and it came out within ~3min of ordering. 10/10, would most certainly eat here again, and if we lived in the area we would be here all the time.
Knocking one star off of “atmosphere” because of the mis-matched lightbulbs (I know I know, but it’s a pet peeve of mine), and the blue LED strip lighting that is starting to die. But otherwise it’s a fantastic little diner with plenty of diner charm.
Thanks again!! – Harrison & Savannah

Overall it was a good breakfast we had. We were seated quickly and the server got our drinks very fast. The first time my food came out it was extremely overcooked, but they took it back and made it correctly.

Best ever waffle we’ve ever had! We brought it to lassen peak to enjoy!
Appreciate the hospitality the server showed, and also we like it opens at 6am and serves so quickly for us to grab the nice breakfast for hiking!

While the All American was smaller than I expected, the waffle sandwich my wife got was huge. The food was really good, the customer service was excellent. If you get the orange juice with your breakfast order 2 because, even though my breakfast was small, the glass they gave me didn’t last all the way through. All in all, it’s still in our top go to breakfast places.

Came here on the way to a trip up to Oregon. Very nice place with friendly staff! Highly recommend the fried chicken and the omellette. Both were on point. The french fries were also super delicious. Will definitely come here again!
