It’s a wonderful place. I’m lucky to live here since losing my home to PG&E fire. The owner really seems to care about the property, so it’s strange that the signage and entrance don’t reflect this.
From the road it looks like the resort is closed or abandoned. Graffiti makes reading CLEARLAKE RESORT from the road nearly impossible. I really do love living here. Once you’re through the gate, this place is lovely. And the people here are great neighbors that look after each other.
Just don’t judge a book by its cover, or you might lose out on a safe, wonderful place to start your next adventure.

I recently stayed at Clearlake Resort and was genuinely impressed by how clean and well kept the property was. I spent time walking around the grounds and most areas were very clean, organized, and clearly cared for, which really stood out to me. One of the biggest things for me was how safe and peaceful the property felt. As someone living alone, that sense of comfort and security. is incredibly important, I truly felt at ease during my stay. The people around the property were also friendly and welcoming, which added to the relaxing. atmosphere. The lake views are beautiful, the setting is quiet and calming, and you can tell there’s real effort being made to improve and maintain the resort. It has a laid-back, community feel that’s hard to find these days. I enjoyed my stay so much that I’m actually considering moving here full time in the near future. Looking forward to seeing how the property continues to improve.

Love this place. I’ve met a lot of nice people staying here. The park is the best in town. Very clean. It also has a private dock to fish from and also shore fishing. Has a boat launch as well. Very quiet. The state park is right next to it so it’s great for hiking. Big wash room with extra large washers and dryers. The office manager is very helpful . Great location. Love this place.

My kids and I have lived here for about 5 years now and we absolutely love it, the managers are amazing and super helpful, it’s beautiful here, yes some areas need a little clean up. There is laundry access, a pool for the hot days during summer, there is a dock to fish off of (which my older adult kids do almost everyday), a place to walk your dog, a basketball hoop, and a little area for the kids to run and play.

This place is far from a resort. They need to take the public restroom off the amenities. There isn’t access to the bathhouse and I was told that it will not be opened again. This place has a lot of potential but the managers running it have no idea what they are doing. Dogs run loose all the time pooping on everyone’s area. Lights around the place do not work and haven’t for a while. Our water spigot was broken when we arrived and was not fixed for the duration of our stay. About six months. Lady that sprays weeds sprays weed killer on everything even vehicles. Residents have screaming fits all the time.The dock area is not at all what the pics show. It has been neglected. The laundry mat was always filthy. I cleaned it myself a couple of times before I did my laundry. The gate was intermittent. Sometimes it didn’t close for days on end. Be careful around the black and white dog on the managers porch as it will bark and bite at you. We just want ppl to know what this place is like due to the difference in advertising they give to what the reality is.
