2026 update: Chevy’s changed their every-day Happy Hour to M-F and clawed back the hours from 9pm to 3pm-7pm. We wanted to try their new menu. Tots $10, 8 wings $10, 3 ribs $12, empanadas $8, frozen margarita $8 and a margarita flight $10. The cantina area was full because the happy hour specials are only available in this area. The food and drinks were OK with the exception of the enchiladas $15. That was meh.

Downgraded to three stars because of the service. We ordered ribs and received wings. If I send it back, it would take even longer for them to fix it so I ordered ribs again and got charged for 2x ribs instead of the cheaper wings. The waiter doesn’t check what food belongs to which table. No silverware or napkins were given to us. I had to ask for it after my food arrived. No water refills. Waiter would disappear for a long time and he looked confused. I feel bad for him and worst for his customers, including me. There’s also a weird $3.74 surcharge for a $75 bill. No explanation.

Original review: This is a great Chevys location. We wanted to try their everyday 3pm-9pm happy hour menu (cantina area only.) Birra tacos $8, salmon tacos $10, Mexican pizza $10, carnitas tacos $8, margarita flight $10 and Modelo draft beer $4. The food didn’t take a long time to come out even though the bar/cantina was full. A lot of women patrons here. That’s rare for a bar. The rest of the restaurant was empty. Basketball games were on the many TV’s. All the food tasted fine. We liked how the dishes were small and you don’t have to have a full meal. Out of all the dishes, we like the little salmon tacos the most. The second one was the Mexican pizza. The last time I had a good Mexican pizza was at Taco Bell, the one by Fisherman’s Wharf in the 90’s. Those were some good times. The Mexican pizza at Chevys bought those memories back. Service was excellent. The bartender was attentive.

Tasty and fresh food. Awesome service from the gentleman who helped us (I forgot his name). And overall clean restaurant as far as I could tell.

I’ll be coming back if I’m craving this.

Chevy is a fun place to eat – inviting, high energy, laid back and comforting. Food is always good and well presented. It comes with chips and salsa (made daily). Their margaritas are not watered down – you can taste the alcohol. I always choose a combo because I can’t decide on one item plus I have left overs for another meal. It was my first time ordering the margarita sampler instead of my usual. It is a great way to try the different margarita flavors.
