The food was amazing, you really do get your money’s worth here. I bought a large super Cubana, and man was it huge! It was 25 dollars, and it was the size of my head! It tasted amazing! The service was incredible, every 10-15 minutes or so the lady would come by to check on us. Everybody was super friendly and working hard, especially the older lady. I would definitely recommend to others, and I would definitely come back again.

We placed our pickup order at 7:30pm via phone and it was only tacos. It shouldn’t take 45 minutes to prepare 12 regular tacos, but it did and they didn’t even apologize or anything. Customer service is obviously a weakness of theirs.

Service was good and order food for take out. Once at home and my hubby had a bite into his food, then went down hill….he found a hair on his food. We had to drive back do Mountain View(we live in a neighbor city) and hand them back the food we found the hair in. Then we noticed the kitchen crew dosen’t wear hair nets…they seem not to believe us but then they saw the hair…they asked us if we wanted to replace the same order but by that point..my hubby was grossed out and said no thanks…we got our money back for that food item. So sad, for we have been at the other San Jose chalateco locations and haven’t had any issues… food, service, cleanliness was great….but not at Mountain View location.

This is the most authentic Mexican.I’ve eaten in many years. Everything we got was very good. The beer was priced a little high, but I guess it is everywhere. Definitely recommend it and we’ll go back.

This place is really good and authentic. Food arrived fast. Staff was friendly. They have a lot of unique options on the menu. It’s also affordable. They deserve a much better rating.
