We discovered Casa Agave a few months ago and have become enamoured of this fantastic gem of a restaurant with amazing Mexican food, delightfully delicious salsa, and with a wall of original Juan Miguel Franco artwork that is just so beautiful! Great food, great ambiance, and really great staff who are kind, friendly, and simply the best! It always delivers!
This place is a true gem in Fairfield, a perfect stop if you’re driving to Tahoe. It has everything you could ask for in a road trip restaurant and more.
The food is excellent.
They offer a huge selection of traditional Mexican dishes like fajitas, tacos, and burritos, along with more unique specialty items like enchiladas. We were even given free chips and salsa to start, which was a great touch.
What really stood out, though, were the drinks. The margaritas are the real deal, made with fresh limes—something you don’t find everywhere. The other cocktails were equally impressive, and they have a great beer selection to go with the food.
Plus, the location is super convenient, with plenty of parking right out front. This is definitely a spot I’ll be stopping at again.
The food was really good. I had a vegetarian burrito that was excellent. However, they only had two very vegetarian options. One of them was the burrito, and the other one was a salad. Everything else in the menu you had meat. There were a couple of sides that were vegetarian. I would suggest they expand their vegetarian options to be more inclusive of diverse eaters.

Came on a weekday and the place was both delicious and friendly! Would highly recommend. Try their ceviche and micheladas
