First timer and I have to say I absolutely LOVED the customer service I received. From the time I entered, to the time I was seated to receiving my food. The quality of the food was excellent. The shrimp was cooked just right. I told the waiter, I will be bring more business here in the near future. I highly recommend Cantina Jack’s for authentic Mexican food.

We’ve been loyal customers of Jack’s Bar & Grill for many years, but this was our first visit to Cantina Jack’s in downtown Pleasant Hill, and we’re so glad we decided to try it!
Cantina Jack’s offers a wonderful Mexican dining experience with a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The colorful décor, beautiful lighting, and lively ambiance make it a fun place to enjoy a meal. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully prepared.
A special thank you to our server, Juan. He has been with Jack’s for many years and is truly outstanding. He is professional, polished, friendly, and attentive. It was great to see a familiar face who recognized us from our visits to Jack’s Bar & Grill and made us feel so welcome.
If you enjoy Mexican food, Cantina Jack’s is definitely a place you should try. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. We are so happy we finally visited and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Went here for a retirement party of a beloved coworker. The only negative, which was small is that Google maps took me to the backside of the building to park, which caused a much longer walk for me and my buddy, the walker.
Came during happy hour, so it was budget friendly(er). 16 oz. frozen strawberry margarita was 11 dollars. Slightly disappointed that I couldn’t get happy hour food prices to-go for wifey. The drink was good and she loved the carne asada quesadilla I brought back for her. The salsa with the chips were incredible. I wished I asked to see if they sell it, because it was THAT good.

I don’t eat meat and usually don’t like Mexican food, but my husband convinced me to try Cantina Jack’s. What caught my attention was a fruit salad on the menu with pineapple, watermelon, cucumber, mint, and other fresh fruits. That’s the main reason I agreed to go, since I thought I could enjoy the fruit salad while my husband had his meat tacos.
When we sat down, I showed the waitress the fruit salad from the picture, but unfortunately they told me they no longer serve it. I was disappointed because I thought there wouldn’t be anything for me to eat. In the end, I ordered the veggie tacos, and they turned out to be really good! It was the first time in my life that I realized Mexican food — especially veggie tacos — could taste this delicious.
My husband was also very happy with his meat tacos. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. I just wish they still had the fruit salad. Hopefully the owner hears my wish and brings it back someday!

This place has a cool vibe and atmosphere. Good menu selection and very reasonable prices. Large separate menu for cocktails, margaritas, etc.
We got our food fast and it was delicious.
Great service as well. Definitely will go back!
