Such a fantastic spot in Old Town San Diego! The tacos made with freshly cooked tortillas were absolutely delicious, and the margaritas were amazing! Even the regular size was surprisingly generous, making it perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
I also loved the vibrant, authentic Mexican atmosphere. The whole place had such a fun and lively vibe, which made the experience even better. Great food, fantastic margaritas, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend!

While exploring Old Town San Diego we stopped in here to eat. Large menu and lots of seating options! Javier was our waiter very friendly! Although there was a small error on our order but Javier came out explained what happened we were very understanding. At the end of our meal they brought us a surprise dessert to again apologize for the small oopsie! Love this place will be back for sure!

We decided to eat lunch at Cafe Coyote.
The place was busy which is always a good sign.
We were escorted by the staff to our table. As soon as you sit down our waiter bought us chips and salsa. It was delicious.
We ordered beef fajitas and fish tacos . All the items were good. The shrimp was very fresh and tasty. The beef fajitas were served with guacamole, Mexican rice, sour cream and lettuce.
For dessert we ordered Fried ice cream.
Our waiter was very attentive and professional.
I used the washroom and it was clean.
We strongly recommend Cafe Coyote.

This is a huge restaurant in Old Town. We decided to go here because it was across the street from the Whaley House and there was no wait. We were a big group of 8 that Saturday evening.
The decor is very cute with lots of seating inside and outside on their central patio. We were seated right away and our waiter took all our orders. This is a very busy restaurant with staff bustling around everywhere.
They have delicious freshly made flour tortillas so I always try to order a dish with them. The portions are generous so most dishes can be shared if you want to split a meal or take the leftovers home.
Everyone was happy with the orders. The shrimps in my dish was so good! Not overcooked and fresh.
