The staff went above and beyond to make the evening extra special by surprising us with beautiful rose petals on the table. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the dinner even more memorable.
The food was incredible, especially the black cod. It was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Highly recommend this place while visiting Mendocino!

This restaurant deserves a 5.5 star review, it was incredible! My husband and I ate here for one of our honeymoon date nights while staying in Mendocino. We had Ally has our server and she was so bubbly and very friendly. They serve you bread and butter for starters and then we chose the summer corn soup for our appetizer, which was so delicious and creamy. For the main entree I had the filet mignon with mushrooms instead of asparagus with potatoes as the side. That whole meal was so good, can’t even rate it on scale on 1-10. My husband had the duck confit and he really enjoyed his meal as well.
For dessert we had black coconut cream pie, which was good.
Highly recommend this restaurant for a date night since it is a bit pricey. The atmosphere on the back porch area is so cute and romantic!

Food was honestly beyond my expectations. I came in expecting the usual mediocre fish and chips you find at a lot of waterfront spots, but everything was surprisingly good. The French dishes were excellent, and the sauces were especially well done. A nice bonus is that this restaurant and the one next door waiting room cafe let you order from either menu, which gives you a lot more options.

I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to say enough good things about Cafe Beaujolais. Every bite of every dish I’ve had was packed with flavor and arranged in a way where all of the elements on the plate worked together, not against each other. The wine offering is roboust and the staff are more than knowledgeable enough to help you work through it at any moment. It doesn’t matter if it’s dinner or brunch, the performance is consistent and the food.simply.delivers.
Excellent french cuisine on the coast with a top notch wait staff to match. 11/10 experience.

Mendocino is a fantastic town. Full of charm. Plus, the ocean views. Looking for an upscale restaurant with a cozy feel. Café Beaujolais is it. Our server was knowledgeable and attention. The menu choices will absolutely please. Our selections were fantastically prepared and so tasty. Worth every penny. OK, more like every dollar. We’ll be back. Add Cafe Beaujolais to your must try list.
