Dave, family and crew at Broadway Automotive were fantastic to just work with, not to mention the cost was very reasonable for the work done. Prior to bringing my vehicle to Dave, it had been to several different shops for the exact same reason with not a single mechanic able to fix the issue. It took Dave 1day of research, he set the appointment and less than an hour later had my car back on the road with the issues 100% fixed. I would recommend Broadway Automotive to anyone looking for a mechanic who cares, knows what they are doing, has several certifications/specialties, thoroughly investigates every possible issue, efficiently fixes the problems and does not wipe out your pocket book doing it.

My NEW favorite car care place! Husband and wife team…super nice people!Got smog checked many months ago to get my registration as I’m new to Humboldt. They were so friendly and easy, I recently de idea to go back after another mechanic couldn’t figure out my stalling issue on my Rav4 when I put it in drive. The other mechanic checked the MAS, the throttle body, the fuses,ect. He told me he thought it needed a new throttle body as it was clean and he didnt know why it wasnt working. He totally understood when I said I’d consider it. I left and went down the road wondering if Broadway Automotive fixed cars as well as did smog checks. I took it there,described what the other mechanic had done and told me he did, and let him assess my car. It was a $165 assessment fee and it would take 2 hrs(but if he could fix it within the 2 hrs they don’t charge anything else!). Fortunately,Dave,the mechanic knew what he was doing even tho he listened to all my info about how it drove and what the other mechanic had told me. He had it fixed in an hours time! The throttle body was NOT clean and needed it badly. Once he cleaned it,it’s perfect now..drives like it used to when I first got it! Thank you Dave…you,sir,are awesome!
