My wife and I are serious travelers and have stayed at many hotels. But this one definitely ranks towards the top. Room, pool/ spa area and staff were outstanding! Also location and in & out access to Hwy 101 was great. If we’re in Eureka again we’ll be staying there. Hanging 5 stars for this hotel.

Nice hotel with a very upper class feel. Very friendly staff. Very comfortable beds, bedding and pillows. Our room was very clean with a nice, big layout that was visually appealing. There were couple annoying things in our room. We could hear every single movement from the room above us and it was loud. Not the norm for all the other best western hotels we’ve stayed in. The shower was tiny and the shower head could not be moved or adjusted. This made it impossible to shave my legs without getting my hair wet. Glass shelf in bathroom was a nice touch but it wasn’t level. My things fell off a couple times before I realized the shelf was uneven, not just how I was setting my things down on the shelf. My expensive oil fell off and broke. I mentioned this at checkout and they said they’ll get it leveled. Overall, a nice hotel and good experience. We will stay here again.

Very well maintained. While we didn’t use the pools and outside sitting areas–kids were using them–they were pretty to see and it was happy for the kids.
Breakfast was fresh scrabbled eggs and links. The eggs were good but the links were not. There was several kinds of cereal with fresh cut strawberries and fresh blue berries and raisins, bananas and other fruit. There was yogurt, and a pancake maker and waffle maker. AND A VERY ATTENTIVE STAFF THAT KEPT ALL ITEMS CLEAN AND RESTOCKED.

We really loved this place! The staff are so kind and helpful. The pool area can’t be beat with a large hot tub, pool and plenty of seating areas and a fire table. Breakfast was good for complimentary and the location was very convenient! Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is awesome! It’s a must stay if you’re in the area, everything about this hotel is great! Great, clean rooms great breakfast and great service! Stacy and everybody in the office do a great job! We left $1000 cash in the room and they found it and mailed it to us in another city while on our 3 week PCH tour. Stacy saved our vacation! OK it was my medication and my wife’s jeans but Stacy still saved our vacation and the Humboldt Bay Inn Best Western Plus in Eureka is a great place to stay! It’s a cool little town and they have a limo to run you to any restaurant you want!… or you can have food delivered to the room by the awesome on-site restaurant! Highly recommend!
