I’ve no idea about the actual hotel but the outside looks real nice. I’m writing this review to try and help get the word out. The fireworks display is comparable to the Eureka city show. I’d never even heard about Benbow putting on a show before and our family was excited to go somewhere new for fireworks this year. It was chill and quiet (other than the fireworks of course) and you basically get to choose your spot to set up a blanket or whatever at the park across the way. I’m glad I went and I’ll be going back as long as they do it. Hell yeah!!

Benbow Inn is a great historic property deep in the redwoods. The rooms are spacious but the beds are tired – you will be too. The green LEDs on the smoke detectors are very bright. The mini splits keeping you cool are surprisingly noisy and never stop running. Service was good. Friendly but did have issues with our final bill. The food is decent but there are better options in Garberville.

This was a great location with all of the amenities. It was close to the Avenue of the Giants. It was clean, comfortable and just an awesome stay. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and scones each afternoon. Also Maya was a great bartender. She made two recommending for dinner any they were stop on. Glad we chose to stay at the Benbow Inn.

This was an amazing hotel, and I will definitely be coming back. The lounge had an amazing ambience, And have a cozy wood bring a fireplace. I went here during Christmas so they had all of the decorations and the music up and it was an amazing vibe. The rooms were cozy and warm. Has access to the river, which can be really fun in the summertime. The one thing I didn’t like was that the restaurant was un impressive and overpriced, And I would recommend you dining somewhere else during your stay. Also, do you have the Clara suite I recommend you take a bath because the shower does not have a curtain or door so water gets sprayed everywhere in the bathroom, I guess it’s supposed to be ADA accessible, But it Was just insane. Still 5 out of 5 for me
