We travel extensively and rarely write reviews. However the Atherton Inn was so soothing and relaxing an experience that we wanted to share it with others. It was simply superb. (Made to order breakfast a bonus – Delicious omelettes) Heartfelt attention to details throughout.

Phenomenal location, spacious rooms, wonderful service, and memorable hospitality. This inn is a hidden gem. The kindness, humanity, and warmth from everyone is palpable. There’s a homey feeling and it’s complemented by a serene environment: the space is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the neighborhood is lovely. Highly recommend!

I’ve been staying at the Atherton Inn for four or five years now. Not only is it affordable, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It’s a nice departure from your typical hotel, and it includes a homemade breakfast. The home itself is truly a gem (great staff too) – and in a great location. Highly recommend.

Large welcoming lobby/ lounge area plus beautiful outdoor patio – great to use by guests to invite local residents come by for a cozy chat.
Delicious breakfast served complimentary every day and is included in the very reasonable price of the room . Location is convenient to Stanford, highway 280 and 101 and Silicon Valley companies. Added perk is an elevator to transport luggage to your room. No lugging bags up the stairs
Very friendly and accommodating inn keeper and staff. Worth the stay should you have business anywhere on the Peninsula and beyond.
