Heater didnt work. People in other rooms partyied all night and all day. Playing loud music and traffic in all night long. Couldn’t sleep all night. Its a motel not a place to blast music all night. Did not feel safe here at all. How can the owners not see the drug traffic if they watch the property good?
I’ve been reading these reviews with my girlfriend after our stay at this hotel and we figured we’d share our experience here as well. Things started off rocky, there was absolutely no mention of a deposit online or on the phone while creating the reservation for the room, we ended up borrowing money from a friend to be able to keep our reservation. The guy at the front desk checking us in was a bit rude but the lady (seemed to be his daughter) was so much more helpful and polite. Once we got settled in our room things ended up getting better, room was in a quiet area where nobody bothered us, upon checkout the $50 deposit was returned within a couple hours. Overall we would stay here again knowing about the deposit, however mentioning that a deposit was required either on their webpage or on the phone would have been fantastic
⭐ 1-Star Review: Discriminated Against & Left to Sleep in My Car
I had one of the worst experiences of my life at America’s Best Value Inn. I booked and paid online for my room, and nothing—absolutely nothing—mentioned an additional $100 deposit required at check-in. When I arrived, instead of being welcomed as a paying guest, I was treated with disrespect and discrimination.
The front desk staff refused to check me in unless I paid the unexpected deposit, even though it was never disclosed on the website or during the booking process. Their attitude toward me was unprofessional and dismissive, and the way they spoke to me made me feel singled out and unwelcome. I was left standing there with proof of payment but no room, no help, and no compassion.
Because of their lack of transparency and discriminatory behavior, I had nowhere to go and ended up having to sleep in my car again, despite having already paid for a room I was never allowed to use.
This was unacceptable, humiliating, and completely avoidable. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you expect honesty, professionalism, or even basic human decency.
I have stayed here at this motel several times. Each time, the service has been exceptional. The rooms were also excellent, especially when you factor in the very fair pricing. I would stay here again.
When we walked into the room, the wave of cigarette smoke that hit us was overpowering. The coverlets on the beds had cigarette burn holes and scratches on them. In an effort to try and clear the smoke from the room, we opened the windows and turned on the rather noisy fan. This just made the smoke more intense!
The smell in the linens, towels, pillow cases, ALL OF IT was so horrifically bad that I did not sleep at all through my one night stay.
During the night, one of the things in the room would periodically jingle and beep.
Worst stay of a lifetime, will not be going back. Do not give them your business until they change!
