Confirmed and scheduled twice, including two phone conversations with Jason. On the day of the move, he simply did not show up. No call, no notice, no explanation. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable business practice. I would not recommend this mover.

Alder is the absolute best moving company of the five we have contracted with over the years. Jayson, the owner, is very responsive and kind. We had “the works” for them: lived on a steep hillside with multiple stories and levels. They had to pack & take everything either downstairs or upstairs or both. Our driveway was too steep & narrow for the larger moving van, so they had to load the smaller truck, drive it downhill, and unload – numerous times over several days. Then the crew chief Shawn loaded everything into the larger moving trucks. We had 24 years of accumulated stuff & ran two businesses out of our property. When they arrived at our new home, everything was neatly unloaded & carefully stacked in aisles in the appropriate rooms so that we could walk through & efficiently unpack. And they set up our bed so we got a much-needed good night’s sleep. The entire crew was friendly, efficient, hard-working, strong, honest and maintained their sense of humor throughout.. Shawn was truly a gem at keeping everyone/everything organized and moving smoothly. We’ve had enough time to unpack now. Nothing was broken, not even our numerous glasses, dishes and pottery. They are the best! And I also wrote a 5-star review on that website that starts with a Y and rhythms with kelp (you know the one). It was suppressed – probably because I haven’t written enough reviews. However, I discovered that Alder has 59 5-star reviews that are being suppressed. Read them as well. Alder deserves ALL their 5-star reviews!!!

Great professional team. Everything was nicely wrapped and they even moved my Grandmother’s huge safe and piano! I can’t imagine how we could have even done what took them one day to do. I will recommend to my Real Estate clients in the future.
