Magical. Great value.
Perfect location if you fish, have a kayak, or a boat.
Amazingly quite for the number of people here.
Clean & well maintained.
Frendly & helpful staff.
It is right next to the last wooden truss bridge on a freeway in California. You can hear the traffic distantly but it’s kind of a pleasant whoosh noise. Nothing that would be distracting or keep you up at night.
Remember it is a RV / Trailer place with cabins. Spaces are adequate with table and some have fire pits Full hookups. But the whole site does offer a-lot for families. Play areas. Pool. Jacuzzi. I saw shuffle board and horse shoes and corn hole too. They even have a golf course.
I a few minute walk you can visit the next door Inn with a great restaurant and bar.
This place is like home to me. I’ve been coming back to this campground at least once a year for over 8 years!!! The campground offers a lot to do and has access to a playground as well as a gorgeous beach. The campground is also close to Fort Bragg, an inclusive city with lots to explore, such as the Skunk Train, drinking yummy coffee, and shopping for the family.
We spent $78 per night and stayed 2 night in a full service RV site. I went to the shower room to take a shower and I did not see anyway to turn on the shower water. I realized that I needed to pay to take a shower. I didn’t have any quarters with me so I exited the shower room and went and talked to the manager about charging RV full hook up customers to take a shower. The response was that’s how we’ve always done it and they offered no compensation for me to shower in their shower room after paying $163 for the two nights and not able to shower without paying is ridiculous and Pennywise and Pound foolish! I understand that You might charge those that are in the tenting area But not those that have paid a very high price for an RV park. Since it’s a pay situation, they should offer free showers to the RVers. The amenities were minimal and not even in good condition. This was a total rip off!!!!!
My wife and I just finished a 3 nite stay and were very impressed by the staff, whom were extremely pleasant and helpful. We had a site by the hill, which is really nice when the afternoon winds pick up, kinda blocks most of it. The facilities are spotless, it’s quiet, the beach is awesome. Overall this is on of the nicest stays we’ve had. We will be back so save a space for us!!!
