There really aren’t that many choices outside of Great Wolf Lodge especially passable Chinese food so this place kinda stands out. The food is not terrible but you shouldn’t expect great authenticity. The restaurant feels more like they got the food from Costco and then heated up for you. My suggestion is that if you know what good Chinese food is, skip it but if you absolutely must have Chinese food then this place should wet your appetite until you head back to the Bay Area. They are more like Asian fast food place because omg the food came out fast (literally within minutes). Like I said, the food is alright especially if you are not picky and there are enough varieties to please most people.

The place is kinda small especially if you have a party bigger than 4. The service is really attentive and you can tell they are not trying to attract just Chinese there so you should feel comfortable. You sit down and order through a pad on the table.

Once again, it’s ok food and a good alternative to the other fast food places in the area. This is not Panda Express in that you sit down and they serve food to you. The food has a shanghainese flair but I wouldn’t call anything authentic. The best way to gauge is to think then as glorified Costco Chinese food.

88 Bao Bao is truly a hidden gem. This small dim sum spot may be modest in size, but it’s packed with big flavor. The dumplings are incredibly delicious—well-seasoned without being overly salty, letting the natural flavors shine through. One of the best parts is being able to watch the chef make the dumplings fresh, which adds to the experience.

When you walk in, you’re warmly greeted by the staff. You order and pay at the counter, then they bring the food out to you as it’s ready, one dish at a time. The pork dumplings I had were especially memorable—bursting with juice and rich flavor in every bite.

I’m visiting California, and I’m so glad we stopped here for some bao buns. I would definitely recommend 88 Bao Bao to anyone looking for quality dim sum and authentic, comforting flavors.

Food is good. The (Xiao lung Bao) pork dumplings were juicy and flavorful better than the 88 Bao Bao in Dublin. Beef rolls is good and the pan fried bao is juicy… could use a little less uncooked oil brushing the unfried part of the bao … I guess they have to keep the black sesame in place.

Small Chinese joint prefect for small groups. Friendly on the wallet compared to Ding Tai Fung and the like. Order first places are a bit weird for me because you tip up front and then receive service. Wasn’t too impressed by the cucumber or the soup dumplings although, I’ll very much order them again. The popcorn chicken was quite good. It reminded me of the flavors in Taiwan street markets. Still, not going to blow your mind. Place was quite tiny, so felt a bit bad taking up a table for four by myself. Still, they served me well and were very kind.

The food is excellent. The restaurant is kind of small but you can see the chefs making food.
The dumplings are excellent. The popcorn chicken is served fresh and in a huge serving.
My only complaint is that they don’t give you hot and sour sauce. You have to ask for it.
