Alright, alright, alright, we L-O-V-E-D our dinner tonight! We ventured out to Alliance today and enjoyed Towne Grill and let me just say Mwah, so good!
We started with the Atlantic dip and cornbread. The cornbread was so delicious! It was sweet, crispy, buttery and downright decadent! The Atlantic dip surprised me in the best way. It came with little slices of ciabatta bread, avocado and smoked salmon and made for a great combination.
I selected (and no I’m not a child) chicken strips. Listen, they had me at jalapeño gravy. It came with slaw and hand cut French fries. The chicken strips were good, the fries delish, the slaw was mid, but the gravy, yummy!
My friend had the crispy chicken sandwich and enessence, it was the same as mine but on a bun and no gravy. She said it was amazing too.
The other friend had the meatloaf. As he said, he’s never ordered meatloaf at a restaurant in his life but they said that was a speciality so he went with it and he was VERY happy with that decision. The meatloaf was grilled, came with a very nice glaze and served with mashed potatoes. He raved about all of it!
Finally, my husband, he had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. He too was very happy with his decision. The meat was tender enough to cut with a fork, and that seldom happens! He too, gave the mashed potatoes a 10/10!
As far as the environment, it was nice. We weren’t super dressed up or anything but I would say if you are going dress more on the upper casual side.
Our waitress was ok, but I was super impressed that Justin, the manager, came by to check in, he was very kind and asked about our evening. Great customer service wins me every time!
As you can see from my review page, we are on a DFW food tour and I must say, this one is up at the top!
My work team and I went here for a retirement lunch! It was a great visit! The menu is small but the food was pretty good! I got the crispy chicken sandwich and was impressed! I do wish they had a little bit bigger of a menu though. I enjoyed the visit though and the visit went well! I would come back!
Nice slightly upscale place with an extensive menu. Stopped by for brunch and had a couple of their mimosa at 8$ each which was a deal. The blackened ribeye at 54$ was not. Lol. The steak was decent, nicely cooked to my ask but it was not as tender for a ribeye. Nicely grilled but the seasoning was on the sweet side which threw me off. Barkeep was super friendly and very efficient
Love this place! Started out with the
Grilled artichokes appetizer which was so delicious and full of flavor. Do not order this
If you are unfamiliar with how to eat an artichoke. Main course was pecan trout and instead of spinach I substituted the sautéed mixed veggies. My sister got the steak frites and both entrees were delicious. We ended with the blueberry bread pudding! Everything we ate was top notch!!! This is my new favorite restaurant.
The cleanliness of the place is spotless. The atmosphere is great. The reviews were pretty decent so I said let’s give it a try two adults three kids. All we order was three burgers with no bun on two of them Because of keto diet and one regular cheeseburger for my daughters to share with a cup of Fruits, one flatbread, pizza, pepperoni for my son And a charcuterie board and two teas and five waters our sides for the burgers where Caesar salad. The Caesar salad tasted good and fresh The charcuterie board Was a little underwhelming, but not bad they never brought me the kids cheeseburger neither one of the tea That I order because supposedly they ran out of, but they never offer to substitute for a different tea as their menu have multiple different ones . I felt like our table was forgotten. I talked to the manager, Michael. And as soon I talk to him, I really understood why I had all the problems. Michael seems completely oblivious of reality. I don’t believe his management is correct. The store was relatively empty. And even he admitted that they didn’t deliver to their standards and I quote Whe he said that they didn’t even fulfill 5% of the expectation to a normal visit. My burger was basically raw if I had asked for it to be rare that wouldn’t be an issue but that wasn’t the case. I still ate it given the fact that I have mentioned that was my first meal of the day and it was almost 230 in the evening and I’m OK eating raw when I desire to eat raw but definitely wasn’t the time. Absolutely no flavor in the meat. All I tasted was cheese and not a great quality either both burger plates were identical back-and-forth back-and-forth with the manager and the server and no one seem to really care or do much we still payed In full But there was definitely no initiative from the manager to compensate for the lack of service in anyway neither to invite to a second opportunity for us to come back and experience the true service that they say they offer instead I got offer a cake that I cannot eat and his sarcastic laugh, completely unaware Or ignoring the horrible experience. I personally will never come back, although I believe the atmosphere is very nice. What a shame.
