We had been looking for a good seafood restaurant in downtown Napa when Waterfront Seafood Grill, located right beside the Napa River and overlooking the iconic Napa Bridge, caught our attention. The beautiful waterfront setting, elegant ambiance, and seafood-focused menu made it an easy choice—and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and comfortably seated as a group of four adults and one child. Although the menu had plenty of tempting options, the chef personally came to our table and helped us choose dishes that would suit our family, which made the experience feel truly special.

We started with their fresh oysters, followed by the Crab Enchilada, Waterfront Lobster Roll, and Coconut-Roasted Mexican White Prawns. We paired our meal with a refreshing Mai Tai and another house cocktail. Every single dish was beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and bursting with flavor. The seafood was cooked to perfection, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out.

The Lobster Roll came with crispy French fries, while the Crab Enchilada was served with fragrant Indian basmati rice. Since we were traveling with our child and enjoy rice with our meals, we requested an extra serving of basmati rice. The staff happily accommodated our request without hesitation, which was a thoughtful gesture we truly appreciated.

The restaurant itself has a charming European-style waterfront vibe with tasteful décor and a relaxed atmosphere. We spent about an hour enjoying our meal and the scenic river views, making it a memorable dining experience.

Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but the exceptional quality of the food, attentive service, and stunning location make it absolutely worth every dollar. If you’re visiting Napa and love seafood, Waterfront Seafood Grill is a restaurant you shouldn’t miss. Highly recommended!

For today’s outing were across the u.s. in Napa Valley, ca. Me and my girl wanted a nice night out and I found this restaurant on the river walk. Now 1st things first, dress nicely and expect to pay for an upscale meal. That said I’d go this place again n again without hesitation.
I trained for 3 years in culinary arts so I always keep an eye out for exceptional wait staff….and this wait staff was absolutely amazing. Prompt, glass never drops below half full, all of it. Thanks so much to them. The food? Wow is all I can say. She let me choose so I went with the bourbon Chipotle oysters, the lobster bisque, and a seafood platter that was a special not on the normal menu (all pictured). It was a shareable size that had lobster, scallops, shrimp, crab cakes, a veggie medley and rice. In particular the lobster, scallops and shrimp were next level. We didnt care for the rab cakes….the texture and seasoning were off putting. Also pictured were drinks and menu. This is a must go for a nice night out. Consider sitting outside, we enjoyed sitting by the river. Also apologies for nor pic of the intact lobster, we destroyed that 1st 🙂 lmaoooo.

Beautiful view outside of the river and mountains. The food was great, I had the claim chowder, filet mignon with mashed potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower, and the vanilla crème brûlée and pedal punch mocktail. Everything was great. Service was great.

Meh. You’re definitely paying for the real estate not the food… The food was subpar especially considering the not insignificant price point.

The oysters were good but it sure would have been nice if they told us which kind they had and let us choose which ones we got.

The crab cakes tasted flat and under salted.

I didn’t know what to make of the ceviche, it came out formed as a cylinder on a flat plate and was virtually dry of any citrus… It had some oil drizzled around at least, maybe that’s a style I’m not familiar with but I very much like having more of the citrus to be present, I feel like the juice is a huge part of ceviche for me and this fish had virtually none.

The cioppino was decent and a good portion, a big part of why I got it was the saffron aioli but that didn’t come though much for me.

Overall, not mad but not going back and wouldn’t recommend it.
