A really nice little coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere and a great vibe. The cortado was excellent, and the staff were friendly. The selection is fairly limited, and there weren’t any vegan bakery options when we visited, but it’s still a lovely place to relax with a good cup of coffee. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Mendocino.
We couldn’t get a table next door, so we were recommended to come to the waiting room. No regrets at all, especially since they share the same kitchen.
The food was honestly great. The corn soup was excellent, showcasing a perfectly silky, smooth texture with a restrained sweet note. The seafood stew was also impressive, featuring incredibly fresh catches in a deeply flavorful broth. For the mains, the duck had a perfectly rendered, crispy skin with rich, tender meat, and the bolognese had a great savory depth that clung well to the pasta.
The only minor thing was the dessert. The puffs were nice and crispy, but the cream filling lacked flavor depth. Overall, it was a very decent experience. For the price, the technical execution of the food, and the atmosphere, I would definitely come back again.
Picture perfect cafe discreetly tucked away a block off Main Street with a small but mouth-watering selection of sweet and savory pastries, including gluten free and vegan options. The morning light was to die for, and the friendly banter with Gustavo made our morning. No stop of mine will be complete in Mendocino without a flat white here.
The pastries are on the same tier as the best pastry shops in major urban areas. The almond olive oil cake was the biggest standout with its crispy sugary top, better than at the famous spots in NYC. Scones were light and fluffy with crispy crags. Croissants were crispy and flaky. The cafe has a beautiful outdoor garden space in the back.

Really cozy little coffee shop, good iced mocha. They have a really sound system/turn table. Staff were inviting and kind.
