We had our ‘70 Vw camper bus battery die 10 miles east of Mendocino. I decided to get us towed to the shop in Fort Bragg. We slept the night and in the morning talked to Ryland. He informed me that unfortunately he didn’t have time to do an alternator swap that day as he had a full day of cars to finish up. He happily agreed to hook my battery up to the charger so I could get to the next shop. We were able to make our bike rail skunk train ride while the battery was charging at the shop. When we got back, he informed us that he went ahead and looked around and found our alternator wire had fallen off and that we were good to go. he also tightened up our alternator belt as he found it to be loose. I give this Shop 11 stars. Ryland is a generous soul.

They were really busy but they were kind enough to take the time to help me scan my engine for a check engine light and they replaced a fuse for me. I appreciate the great customer service.

My friend and I ran into some problems with my 2007 Toyota Yaris driving up from the SF Bay Area. Weird sounds turning left on windy curves and leaking water on the passenger side from a clogged AC drain. We had the great good fortune of getting help from Rylan Goble, the owner at The Shop. He very kindly offered to take it for a spin to test it out. He not only is extremely car savvy but too huge plusses: 1) he’s a very good communicator and 2) he’s a very good teacher.
