I fell in love with the Redwood after assisting Photographer Emma Kruch on a shoot. It’s become my and my husband’s favorite restaurant in all of NorCal! I always order the seasonal shrub (recently apple bay which blew my mind).

The food is as delicious as it is beautiful, lovingly pprepared, and well thought out. Chef Geneva puts so much thought and care into her creations using fresh seasonal produce and often Mediterranean twists. I recently had a fish in a green curry with white beans and fava greens that was so shockingly good it made me cry.

I love the laid-back atmosphere and the service is always on point. Get a table at this beloved, unassuming spot while you can before Michelin discovers them!

We had an unforgettable meal here! Not pictured here that we also enjoyed is the beef brisket & mole rojo entree. The flavors of every dish were out of this world and perfectly paired. I also had some red wine that was so good I had to buy a bottle to take home. Sadly, because we cleared every plate, we were too full to try dessert but now we have another reason to come back. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The ambiance is laid back but I wouldn’t call it ‘casual’. It’s a great place for a group meal, a date, or just catching up with an old friend.

We have dined here on multiple occasions and have always found the food, service, and atmosphere to be delightful. The food is always created with the freshest ingredients and cooked perfectly. We highly recommend the Braised Lamb Shank, the Petrale Sole, the Fennel Braised Pork Shoulder, the Little Gem Salad and the Smoked Rainbow Trout Dip. Save room for dessert.
