I loved this place the most I had an open faced bagel and a latte, no flavor, no sweetner, and the latte was really good too. The open faced bagel was DIVINE just very unique extra flavor full I’ll try to recreate that. Their bagels are so good. I had a jalapeno cheese bagel super spicy wow but so good so worth the burn. I’ll definitely come back here again and again. I’d eat that every morning and I’ll try to recreate it. The scramble on top of the bagel is heavenly. The guy at the counter WAS SO POLITE and kind. I can’t even. The whole staff you can tell is just good natured. I’d really love to start every morning here, i would if I lived there.

Amazing Pecan cinnamon roll on weekends!! 10/10 recommended. Also all Bagels amazing, a very peaceful place and very friendly service.

Great breakfast. Not a massive amount of food but quite sufficient for the fair price.
Protein scramble with avocado instead of chicken: eggs, cheese, black beans, onions, bell peppers, spinach and avocado. $17.60
Very fresh ingredients and wonderfully toasted potatoes. I appreciate that its not microwaved. They let the natural heat melt the cheese which is why there’s a little unmelted cheese around the edges. Temperature was perfectly good.

I placed a custom order of 60 assorted pastries for our school’s staff appreciation week. The Press was very easy to communicate with and happy to accommodate our order. They let me select exactly how many of each pastry we wanted. We got 10 ham & cheese croissants, 10 almond croissants, 10 blueberry muffins,10 lemon almond poppyseed muffins, 5 apple strudels and 5 scones. They boxed the pastries nicely and even helped me carry them to my car. The staff were very excited to have such a nice assortment of gourmet pastries. I’d highly recommend The Press for your custom pastry orders!

Love this hidden gem in HMB. It is our go-to brunch place before taking our long walk along the coastline. We like to sit outside in the patio where we can enjoy the sunshine (or wind in the winter haha) and the garden. You order at the front desk, and they will bring the food to you. My absolute favorite was the press bagel with chorizo. My partner had the bagel with smoked salmon. Both were really delicious. Given the location, relaxing atmosphere, food, and the price, I can see why we continue to come back time and time again, and you should too.
