The bed was so ridiculously firm. It was a memory foam, but you did not sink into. Both my husband’s and my backs hurt. The cute vintage bed frame also needs some WD-40. It squeaks SOOO bad. Walls are thin too. We could hear our neighbors bed squeak whenever they tossed and turned as well.
No employees on site which I think could be a pro or con depending on who you are.

This place is the definition of a hidden gem! We had a very smooth booking through checkout experience. The check-in process if fully hands-off like airbnb, you get a gate code and the code to unlock your room on the first day of your stay. The rooms are super clean and just plain gorgeous. I still can’t believe this place is dog friendly!!!
There’s a small swimming pool (dogs are not allowed) and a small park near the parking as well. There’s a grocery store, restaurants and a gas station in less than 2 minutes of drive.
Highly recommend this place!

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a romantic getaway and it was perfect for everything we needed. We spent the day at Harbin, and it felt so nice to come back to such a cozy, comfortable room afterward. I loved the decor, and the bathtub was absolutely incredible. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I adore Monarch in San Francisco, so had to check out this spot created by the same group. We loved our stay and highly recommend to anyone coming to this area. The rooms are clean and perfectly quirky with many fun details, and the service was prompt anytime we needed something. Nice little garden area in the middle as well. Harbin hot springs is an easy 15 minute drive, and there is a gas station and grocery store right next door.
