Menus were paper printouts stapled together, no binding or lamination or anything. The sound system or computer or whatever it is was audibly struggling. However, the food itself was very good. Highly recommend all their fancy dishes, as those are where they really stand out compared to franchise breakfast places.
Our first time here. Friday lunchtime was a 15 minute wait for a table. We ordered and were told it would likely be a 30 minute wait for food as the kitchen was backed up. (Probably should have led with that info before ordering)
We ordered breakfast foods, but the server failed to anticipate us needing ketchup, hot sauce, or jam for our meals. Our food was delivered without condiments and without our toast. We had to wait and wait for those and when the toast did arrive, it was under toasted and over buttered.
I suspect David, our server, is either new to serving or not properly trained since he presented three packets of jam in his hand for the toast. Please bring them on a plate, in a basket, or other another appetizing presentation in the future.
Food was okay, but not worth going back for. I left feeling like I’m just too old for this place. (I’m 52) The photo spot for social media, music selection, and inexperienced staff were not my vibe.
Amazing food, drinks, and service. The cookie butter latte and the strawberry matcha are so delicious. They have these breakfast boards which are excellent for groups or families, or even people who cant make up their minds between pancakes, waffles, and french toast. The Canadian egg Benedict’s are perfect. Their carnitas bowl is a family favorite too. Oh and their fries are crispy.
Food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend their Ube waffles or any of their omlettes. Service was a bit slow, but I don’t really care about that so I was fine with it. Drinks were great too and appreciated the free coffee refills. Atmosphere was cozy and would come again
Breeze Cafe was overall a pretty mediocre experience. On paper, a lot of the menu items sound really good and make you excited to order, but once the food actually comes out, it just doesn’t hit the way you expect. Everything looked solid, but the flavors were pretty underwhelming—nothing was bad, just kind of lacking that punch you hope for.
One thing that stood out (in a not-so-great way) was the fresh orange juice machine being out of oranges. It’s a small detail, but when you’re expecting something fresh and they can’t deliver, it takes away from the experience a bit.
That said, I’ll give them credit where it’s due—the cafe was decorated for Easter, and you can tell they put effort into creating a festive atmosphere. It added a nice touch and showed some spirit, even if the food didn’t fully match the vibe.
Overall, not a terrible spot, but not one I’d go out of my way to revisit either.
