Our first time here at the Lafayette restaurant! The Kentucky Scramble was very tasty and filling! They had quite the menu there, even a few plant based options, a very tasty Vegan Scramble!
Food was delicious! I had a crab cake Benedict and pastor Benedict. Both were very good, but the pastor was a standout. I want to go back and order more! We sat outside in the alley, which was lovely. No traffic noise. Service was friendly and not too slow. My cousin ordered biscuits and gravy. The gravy was bacon gravy, not sausage, which none of us cared for. The biscuits were delicious though!
Went here for the 1st time – DELISH! The Bloody Mary was good – not too salty. Ordered the Chilequiles with verde sauce – flavor was yummers. My only gripe was that the chips were soggy, but it was most likely due to my slow eating and the good conversation with my girlfriend. The definite highlight was the Churrro Waffles, a MUST TRY!
We had a group of 9 for brunch and we all really enjoyed the food and our time together. One of our group ordered a hamburger ( see photos) but the restaurant offers us ordered omelet, pancakes, waffles or French toast.
There is very little parking on the street, but much more parking behind the restaurant.
The only thing missing was “Don’t you forget about me” by Simple Minds playing in the background. I guess that would be too much of a cliché!
Try The Breakfast Club; you will not be disappointed!
Friendly employees with an inviting atmosphere! Lots of indoor seating as well as some outdoor seating. It is almost always busy here. We came on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait to be seated. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious! The trio was the best! We tried the blueberry lemon pancakes, peach cobbler, and california French toast. All were yummy but the pancakes were the highlight. The chicken apple sausage is great, as are the potatoes. Very happy with the experience and plan to be back! Highly recommend!
