We absolutely loved our stay at the Bergson! Our room was very comfortable and I really appreciated the Loccitane bath products. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was wonderful, an easy walk into downtown Calistoga and right next to the Tank Garage Winery! We actually got a free tasting at the winery with our stay at the Bergson, and it was probably our favorite winery we visited while staying in Napa. Definitely a 10/10 stay!

We came to Calistoga at the start of the Winter Wine Pass, and we stayed at the Bergson. Wow, what a lovely, tranquil place. The room was fabulous – very spacious, with a gorgeous fireplace and a lovely balcony that looked out over the fountain.
Their reception area is small, so their continental breakfasts were delivered to your room in a charming little basket at the time you requested. We tried almost all of the continental breakfast options while we were there, and they were all delicious. There are several tables and chairs outside, so in the spring and summer, it would be great to enjoy a leisurely breakfast outside.
One of the other benefits of the Bergson is that they are within walking distance of downtown Calistoga. It was nice to be able to walk to downtown and not have to find a place to park. They are right next to Tank Garage Winery, and they have complimentary passes to it.
The staff was extremely helpful, and this is a place that I would highly recommend and I intend to come back to in the future.

I always have a great time at the Bergson. The front desk staff are welcoming and kind. The beds are little bit firmer than I like but much softer than the stiff beds that the chain hotels use. If you can’t sleep on the extra hard mattresses like I can’t, you’ll be fine here. They deliver free breakfast to you in the morning if you fill out their form. The only thing they charge for is the coffee, but they have some free coffee in the front check-in area. I do like to pamper myself and order the coffee anyway. The rooms are large, and both times I’ve been here I get the Jacuzzi tubs, which work great.
