The Beer Aisle was such a welcome addition to Oakley. While their location is a little hidden off of Main Street they make up for it by having a large patio that often has a band playing, have food trucks at the ready, and they host fun events open to the public.
The staff are nice, the service is quick, they always have the games on to watch and most importantly – they have an INCREDIBLE selection of craft beer. I always find a beer that I want to try simply because of the name/description and another beer that is tried and true that I know I’ll love – and the selections are different every time. It’s a good mix of popular local favorites and fun, new additions that rotate through. Often at other tap houses or breweries, the selections are pretty basic OR everything is too out of the box. The Beer Aisle has the perfect balance of both.
I look forward to stopping here with friends or just a fun date night with my husband.

It felt like there were more children than adults there, very weird. Beer selection was ok, a lot of IPA options, 2 ciders, and 1 sour options. Service was poor, they were not very attentive at the bar and the guy was drinking behind the bar instead of serving customers.
Reply to owner: You’re right—I meant seltzer, not cider. Glad we cleared up the most important issue.
Unfortunately, that typo doesn’t change the fact that the service was poor. And telling customers that the person drinking behind the bar was an owner doesn’t really improve the optics—it just confirms that management saw nothing wrong with it.
For the record, the beer selection wasn’t even my complaint. I simply noted what was available. The issue was the service and overall experience. Instead of focusing on a minor mistake about one beverage, taking ownership of the service concerns raised would have been a much better look

This place has amazing beer but a bit too kid friendly. I came here on a date with my husband to get away from the kiddos after scoring a babysitter. I was bummed that there were so many kids at 9pm . Shouldn’t they be in bed ? Lol I came to get away from the crying babies and wanted an adult atmosphere to relax and drink a beer. I think one of the workers or owner has a newborn because there was a very exhausted mom who was simultaneously working and caring for a brand new adorable crying baby and crying toddler. I felt bad for them. I get it’s a kid friendly establishment but come on, maybe we can have adult hours?

They are a new beer place, just opened in June. We walked in to check it out. Pleasantly surprised with the place. It was quite crowded for a place open for a week, and had a great vibe! It is decently big and airy place. People at the counter are friendly. About 10 – 12 tables and 15 ish bar seats. Good selection of California draft beers and they do rotate the selection. They also have canned beers in the fridge. There was a korean food truck outside and seems one can get food in from the truck. It is kid friendly which is critical to attract the local crowd. Overall a nice place with good atmosphere. Will certainly be back!
