As we traveled from Sacramento to Fort Bragg, in our motorhome, we noted a warning light and noted loss of power and some misfiring. Bringing the motor home in for service presented a challenge as it was our transportation as well as our lodging. Steven advised us on the possible problems and arranged for further diagnostic testing. Once a diagnosis was obtained, the repair were accomplished on a schedule that worked for us. Steven was great to work with and Danny quickly made the diagnosis and completed the repairs. I highly recommend Sport for automotive repairs if you’re in Fort Bragg.

My Maverick’s engine got damaged (spark plug/engine block and sensor wires chewed through) and then inhabited by rodents. Sport Auto was great – took the truck in right away, stayed in touch with the insurance company through a change in adjusters, etc Kept me in the loop about what was needed and when they could get it done, and flexed around my schedule as well. I wish they had been a little more meticulous about getting the last remnants of rodent nests out of there, but that is a cosmetic issue and the engine runs just fine now.

I had a wonderful experience at Sport Auto Center this past week. I drive a foreign car (Porsche) and the closest dealer to work on it is in Marin county. I’ve called around Fort Bragg and many places will not work on it.
I called them and spoke with Desire in service, she was polite willing to go the extra mile to check if they could work on my car. She was able to get my oil changed along with a full inspection without any issues. The staff inside were kind and friendly. The owner even went out of his was to thank me for the business!
I really appreciated them being willing to take me on as customer. I will definitely be using them in the future.

What a great place and the team over there are amazing.
It’s never nice to have to end up in an auto repair shop because it generally means that something has gone wrong. In my case that’s exactly what happened, like times two. I was told to check out sport auto because a friend who is local told me that they’re excellent, and it just happened that we were passing by their shop, so I pulled in. I had an issue with something and figured it would be a good time to get an oil change as we had just driven across country. Went in and asked if there was any openings and could they fit us in. They immediately got us in and we were asked to wait an hour or so, sweet. So we went and got some tacos and took the dogs for a walk. About an hour and a half later maybe two we came back and I checked in. Ugh. The tech calmly said that we got an issue. He showed me a cup of oil, swirled it and a gold colored disco ball appeared. A true sign that I was facing a near future engine failure. Nightmare. So what next.? They got on it, explained my options, recommended where to take it, even ran all the information on my car and confirmed that I was covered under my warranty and went as far as offering to communicate with where i was taking it. As for the original reason I took my car to them, they immediately diagnosed the issue and figured out exactly why it was happening. It turns out it was from an install of a hitch and the installer absolutely botched it, sport auto documented everything to a T and offered to back it all up if needed. Here’s the deal, their awesome and super trustworthy!!! I highly recommend them and would give them even more stars if I could.
