I was a regular here since they opened and I used to say this was the best pho in Davis. Sad to say the quality of meat has gone down to the point where I cannot recommend anymore. I couldn’t tell what kind of meat I got the last few times there and I always get the same thing #5 with ribeye and brisket, and I pay extra for the fresh noodles. So final cost is around $19 which is a lot for a bowl of pho with low quality meat. Broth is good, service is good and the place is clean and bright.
I was craving pho while I was at the Davis Hospital, in which my wife had just given birth. I needed a place to relax. I thought to myself “what better way to relax than to eat pho?”. I’m usually pretty picky when it comes to pho, but seeing the reviews on here I had to try for myself. I think what I was impressed with the most was the speedy service. Right when you walk in, they take your order and then give you a seat. Let me tell you, before I got to my seat, the waitress already had my drink and my condiments on the table ready. I sat for no more than two minutes, and my plate was ready and served. Talk about excellent customer service. I 10 out of 10 recommend this place.
Davis is really lucky to have this authentic Vietnamese Pho restaurant. It tastes really similar to the high quality pho you can find in San Jose. The soup was very flavorful and bone broth forward. The portions were also big. I would come here more often if I lived here.
A very solid choice for Vietnamese pho. I honestly think it’s the best one in Davis. I came here when it opened and wasn’t that impressed. But it’s been a few years and the quality of the pho and ingredients have gotten better.
They were quick to serve the food, and when we asked for extra ingredients, the waiters were quite generous. The noodle was excellent and the ribeye pho is what I would recommend, and the soup was hot which is really important. My family all enjoyed the pho.
Parking is not an issue here, plenty of parking at the edge of downtown Davis, and the atmosphere inside is cozy casual. You enter, order, pay- and then get seated. I haven’t tried the other items, but the food is authentic in my opinion, and is convenient. So if you haven’t been here for a while, give it a try. I was surprised by the speed of when the food came out, and the quality of the pho! Enjoy
