I literally had no other choice but to stay here. I was pleasantly surprised by the setting. Aside from the lackluster breakfast and the dated carpet in the room, it was a nice stay. Clean bathroom a fresh linen is always a must.
I would recommend cleaning the ac unit too. It worked fine but keeping things fresh is always a plus.
Coffee was great. Maybe some small oj juice cans would be nice. Host was a pleasant person to talk to too

Good value for a clean, pet friendly motel near Mount Shasta. The rooms are nicer than a Motel 6 with a mini fridge, microwave, well sized bathroom and hot water in the shower. There is free breakfast 7am-9am with bagels, danishes, hard boiled eggs, cereal, coffee and teas. Pet fee is $20 per night per pet. Plenty of parking. The motel itself is aged and worn in but fine overall. For $90 a night it was just what we needed!

We try to support local businesses when we travel and booked this stay rather than the chain hotel across the street.
The place is unkempt and carpets are filthy. Old coffee stains on the walls and grape stems, spilled from previous stay not cleaned up. Went to to the front desk with photos to show them how bad it was, the lady didn’t seem to care, her response to unclean room complaint was “So? Not my problem”.
I had to put my foot down and demand a refund. We didn’t stay here, do not recommend at all. This is not a 3-star place at all

Where to begin? First, we reserved a “two bedroom suite” but it was simply a room with two double beds. That is very misleading advertising. Then, to turn on the lamp in between the beds, you had to get down on the floor to find the plug – which goes into a surge protector on the nightstand! Getting down on the floor, I saw toe nails and it was generally filthy. All the reviews that talk about a good continental breakfast? We weren’t told about one. And, the good coffee? The room had a coffee pot but no coffee! Really, this is just bad business.

I would go and stay every time I drove to Oregon to visit my dad I live 15 miles south if Sacramento Ca I would go about every year & a half. Not anything to do with the quality of the hotel because this Beautiful Cozy Hotel has given me many deep personal memories. My last visit was April 7th 20 2023. It was some stormy weather no one should have been on the road. I had to go id recieved that phone call advising to go to Dad’s if I wanted to say goodbye. My husband & myself left immediately. We had no choice we had to stop. There was my favorite hotel we pulled in got a room and waited for the storm to lighten up we had to get through the Mt Shasta. Finally we walking out & the phone rings i answer to hear its to late your dad’s gone. I fell to my knees I couldn’t believe we were so close. As I sit the car to head back home im looking at this Beautiful Hotel & its location I find myself feeling s Greatful that God had that message of dad’s passing delivered to me In my favorite place I’ve always found that deep peaceful feeling
