Affordable, good food. Fast service, in a mom and pop’s restaurant atmosphere..really good omelets, and biscuits and gravy. 9 out of 10 times you will see somebody you know.

I am just curious, is there somebody in this Cafe that don’t like me? I am not critical but the money I spent on my meal, and the meal that I received just didn’t seem kosher. I was raised in Lakeport in this Cafe has been here for 100 years cannot be the same owners just asking I spent $25.80 for a 7.50 meal gravy was unedible.

Everybody kept talking about the Shoreline Coffee Shop and how great the breakfast is, they even warned me about leaving town without stopping for food. One old gummer said he relayed my license plate number to the sheriff and said I better have a breakfast receipt when I get to the county line, or he’ll tow my truck back to the Shoreline! Well, I went and got a breakfast sandwich, and I’ll say this…It was Amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆

I really like this local coffee shop, even if they occasionally mess my order up. They are also only open for breakfast, which is ok most weekdays but it gets really crowded on the weekends. So plan ahead to have a wait to be seated on weekends. Although they have some outside seating, it’s not nearly enough for the crowd on weekends to prevent a wait time of up to 5-20 minutes. It’s well worth the wait though! I’m never impatient enough about the wait to go somewhere else, because their food is really worth the wait when compared to the other restaurants in the area and the price is reasonable for the amount of food they serve you. Parking is easy since they are located in a small mall in downtown Lakeport in Lake County CA.
Whether a tourist or local, you will find the atmosphere there hard to beat. As they are friendly and helpful to all.
