This is a great place for EVERYONE, not just seniors! All kinds of services—–help with medical, housing, utilities, etc. thru the Outreach Dept.; lots of goodies for sale in the Thrift Store; Family events; too many things available to mention here. Just stop by and check it all out.
We enjoy thrifting, and even more so supporting a senior center. We visit them often in towns we are passing through, and I have worked at a local senior thrift shop helping them get set up. This specific thrift shop, has prices that are WAY too high. Some of the items are even priced higher than retail, like triple! Brand new! Not to mention they write in permanent marker on the bottom of all the shoes, which takes some serious time to remove.
My advice? Considering all the items are donated, as in 100% profit, they should make them affordable, and not try to match brand new prices. We will be back to check things out, but from what I saw today, I’m not so sure wel find anything. Y’all aren’t there to make top dollar, you are there to support the seniors, so give them support! Quantity is key here, and they need some serious pricing overhauls.
Call me, I’m local, in support of our community, and happy to help you guys. But for buyers, beware what you pick up here. Price check.
Really bummed about this store. Clothing prices are ok but it’s the other items that are in some cases grotesquely over priced but overall most things are on the high side. Not sure where they are getting their values from, but feel like they need a little more research.
I took photos for a couple of examples. The AeroGarden was $60 in the store. Thought about grabbing the praying hands but $50 was certainly way too much can buy them new for $16. I do wish them the best of luck, but I won’t be buying from here.

The store had a good variety of items, I was impressed. The staff were kind as well. I would highly recommend this thrift store.
