Do you want to go back in time? Go to this restaurant. It feels like I stepped in to the 90s/early 2000s with great hospitality. The sandwiches aren’t something that you are going to say, “I’ve never had something like this in my life.” but it will remind you of the past. If you choose to visit, you must stay and dine in to get the full experience.

I even saw another person coming in and asked if she could have her dog outside and the man working immediately gave her a dog bowl full of water.

An excellent small sandwich shop that has been in business for a very long time. Extremely friendly proprietors. Unfortunately, no public restroom, but that is OK. The sandwiches were LOADED with meat and cheese, huge, we should have split one between us. The bread was good but I was hoping for something better, to tell the truth. The roll was fresh and very large (almost too large?), but it was pretty much white bread. I asked for sourdough bread for my sandwich, it also was pretty much white bread, not very “sour” (but also very fresh), The turkey and cheese sandwich was packed with meat and cheese. The combo sandwich was supposed to have corned beef and pastrami, but they either left one of them out or there just wasn’t much difference between the two meats. But really packed. This was a much better place than a “chain” sandwich shop, I would go there again. They had homemade cookies that were nice. If you have nut allergies be sure to ask about the cookies or check the signs. The one WITHOUT nuts was labeled as such, the one WITH nuts was not labeled.
