This place is so cute and definitely off the beaten path. It’s seeable from the freeway, that’s how I stumbled upon it and it’s a cute house shaped building, I just had to try it.

So one night, I ventured out to Shasta Lake so I could try this place out. And it’s more than I gave it credit for, as far as it’s cuteness, it’s really quaint and cozy inside too, as far as occupancy. The seats are not cushioned, but the entire atmosphere of the restaurant, just makes it a cute place to be.

The person who took my order was kind, friendly and accommodating to what I was looking for, he was kind enough to just let me get one fish strip instead of two with fried zucchini, and even though the picture doesn’t look like much, it was delicious. I could see this place being packed in the warmer months, b/c it’s not that noisy and it’s just plain cute with plenty of parking.

So glad I have an adventurous spirit enough to just try random food places.

I saw this restaurant from the I 5 every day over the last 4 months before finally stopping today. It was so good, that I returned already tonight. Great tacos, burritos & wraps with fresh ingredients. The French fries were especially tasty.

Amazing food! The peach iced tea will be dreamed about for a long time. It was the perfect sweetness.
Chips and salsa were homemade and delicious.
Fried mushrooms were cooked to perfection and super good, my kid loved the tacos, fish and chips was great portions and my other kiddo loved them.
I tried the rice bowl with chicken and the flavors were wonderful. Veggies were perfectly cooked and super tasty!
The only downside was when we came in I thought we had done something wrong. Wasn’t sure if we should sit ourselves or wait. No one said hello and it felt like they were slightly short with us when we went up to order. After we ordered we did start talking to some of the staff and they warmed up and then the others also smiled and started talking. I am now sure they were just having a moment when we walked in because they ended up being very nice. Will be stopping by again to grab another tea and tacos on our way back out of Cali!
