Great event located right on the eel River great venue great bands

Was so very excited for this event. Drove 10 hours to get there. Purchased the premium RV parking back when tickets went on sale. Arrived at 9:55 a.m. Friday. Was pushed into the far right lane to “wait our turn.” Our lane got passed up three times. Waited there for 2 hours. Finally got into the RV line to wait another two hours. And guess what? Got parked right where we were waiting, outside the venue. This is one of the most unorganized events I’ve ever been to. When I asked what the issue was, I got told, “Sorry, people got really frustrated with waiting and just went and parked wherever they wanted, and it caused a big cluster.” I went to complain at the box office, and they gave us VIP passes for our trouble, WHICH ARE A JOKE! So you don’t have to wait in a long line for a drink at one stage. Cool, I don’t even drink. Will never return.

I’ve still got big love for the old location, but RotR was great this year. I wish there was more shade around the main stage area but in general the production crew did an amazing job. I’ve been attending for about 20 years and I’m already planning for next year. Also, this is the first year I’ve used the shuttles and was SUPER impressed. I heard that after the last show there was a long lune, but I never had to wait long.

What a wonderful festival. Super family friendly, with swimming and camping on site. 12/10 recommend for families.

Been going to the event for 20 years this year was no different other than high times taking over the concert having less patrons as ever. Its always been packed to the rim but this year the crowd was very thin but still a good time! Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and snacks with lots of water to enjoy the concert. Rough river rock camping so I suggest a hotel in the next town, there’s a shuttle that goes to the concert bowl. Be nice to the volunteers, they really take good care of us.
