Store was under stocked today. A lot of empty cases and shelves. Vibe was weird. Young man was emptying buckets of soap and floor cleaner right at the south entry where patrons had to walk through it. Very dangerous. Ventilation for the Chicken frying was off and the whole store stunk like fried chicken however there was no chicken on the shelves or cases. It was like twilight zone. Not going back ever!

Open 364 days a year from 7a-10p. Friendly staff, specialty and organic foods. Hot lunch bar. Fresh roast chickens, BBQ all weekend, fresh produce, hot coffee. Fresh pet food sold here, but the best time to visit is on the weekend. The young man in the parking lot with the BBQ grill going, has mastered what others who work there could not. If you avoid the weekend BBQ due to a past bad experience, worry no more. Don’t deprive yourself of this excellent offering, this kid gets it right, and it sells out fast. Be sure to take a gander inside, because lately they have been having insane grocery basket clearance sales on items that traditionally you simply won’t buy due to the high price. When it’s time for something to go, they make sure it is blown out of there like a rocket launch. Almost always set at a dollar or less. Insanely great deals…just simply INSANE!

Great stop if 299 is your route from Idaho or Eastern Oregon to Redding. Deli food, snacks and fully stocked grocery, including produce can meet any travelers’ wants or needs. The staff is friendly & helpful and their bathroom is tidy & clean. Whole rotisserie chicken was delicious & only $6.99. Just North of Mayers Hospital, it’s super easy to find & fair priced fuel is right next door.
