This place could be so much better if they put some money into it. The location was great great place to use as a base to explore. I know its probably not a priority for most people who come here but the wifi was almost non existent. So if u need to use it good luck. The rooms could use some deep cleaning very dusty. Seems like they only do the bare minimum and that’s it that’s across the board.

I guess there are people that can never be satisfied! We stayed here at the Ramada in Arcata CA and it was wonderful!!! The staff were so accommodating and kind. Our room was very nice, clean and equipped with all our needs. The continental breakfast was comparable to other motels. I would recommend and even stay here again. Thank you Ramada for making this hard time for us comfortable, we truly appreciate you!!!!!!

This is an old, run-down motel, with nice fenced-in parking, and a nice lobby with a literature rack of local pamphlets, and a nice bathroom. The staff are friendly. Beds were comfortable. The studio refrigerator worked well. The complementary breakfast in a dining area was adequate, but lacked variety. The guest rooms are small with “thin” walls. I heard a man in the neighboring room clear his throat and it sounded like he was in our room! The bathroom is small with a step-in-tub shower. There are no elevators, pools or exercise rooms. From the inside of our room, we could see daylight on all four sides of the door.

We checked in at 5ish and they gave us a room on the second floor. We took all of our stuff to the room and then found that the room was filthy. The bathroom counters were sticky so I washed them to find hair and whiskers on the cloth. There were poop stains in the toilet. There was food left in the microwave. They gave us a new room which was on the second floor of another building. We had to take all of our stuff up and down two sets of stairs. My parents are older with physical limitations so this was very difficult. The hotel wouldn’t give is a refund or discount for our frustrations and trouble. I do not recommend this hotel.
