What an amazing experience at The Powder Keg in Hercules! From the moment I walked in, the owners made me feel so welcome and right at home. You can truly tell they care about their guests and the overall experience.
The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, which made the evening even better. The prime rib was absolutely outstanding, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. And the bread pudding… wow…easily one of the best I’ve ever had in years.
The atmosphere was warm, fun, and inviting, making it the kind of place that makes you want to keep coming back more often. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, great people, and a great dining experience!

Hidden Gem! The best of everything! Great service, the food was amazing and the prices were great! The food is sooo fresh and the wait time is not long at all

Went in for dinner on a Friday night. The venue was packed inside and out.
Everything we ordered was great. We had the garlic mussels, calamari, a burger, the crab roll, and a salad. We never felt rushed, and our food came out in a timely manner for as busy as they were.

This place is a solid 4 to 4.5 on average, but I gave it 5 because it can be a 5 on the right occasion. Meals are a little pricey (even before some of the more recent inflation spikes), but that is offset by great happy hour drink prices and specials. In general, their food meets pub food standards and is tasty. If you go to Sunday brunch, you can get the chicken breast instead of wings on the Chicken and Waffles, but it is an upcharge. I enjoyed it. The other photo is one of the scrambles but I can’t remember the name, and lastly the Bloody Mary with the fixings. That one was fun to try once!
