We went here for lunch ordered the ny steak sandwich to split and asked for it medium rare. There were 3 other tables with people sitting at them and we received our food 45 minutes later. Since we were splitting it we cut the steak in half and it was raw still blue in the middle we returned it explained it was raw not medium rare and was given the plates back less than 5 minutes later and the steak had been microwaved. And still raw. At this point we were done and asked for our check and were told we couldn’t leave without paying for the sandwich we couldn’t eat. The server was disrespectful and said since we had “eaten” we had to pay for it. And threatened the cops on us for not wanting to pay for it. We finally settled on paying half. Unfortunately we will not be going here again.
This place is such a gem! The wood decor is super original and gives the restaurant a really cute, authentic atmosphere the moment you walk in.
We ordered the single combo, and honestly, it was more than enough for two people, the portions are generous. Every single item we tried was delicious and packed with flavor, but the brisket was the absolute star of the show; it was amazing!
We loved the food so much we actually ended up ordering more to-go. To top it all off, the staff were super welcoming and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!
What an amazing experience. Owner was training staff and shared their history. Outstanding breakfast, chicken fried steak with country potatoes, and mimosas for us. Beautiful architecture, dined outside, courteous staff. Pride of ownership. Thank you for the experience..
