The Mossbrae Hotel completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I checked in, everything about this stay was exceptionally great.
Cleanliness: Spotless throughout the entire hotel and in the room. You can tell they take immense pride in maintaining high standards.
The Bed: Unbelievably comfortable! I had some of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time
The Shower: Outstanding water pressure and high-end feel—a total luxury after a long day of exploring.
Everything here is truly top tier. I can’t recommend the Mossbrae Hotel enough and will definitely be returning!

Love this hotel! The renovations are absolutely fantastic and the king size room was plenty spacious and well-designed. The tub and hot water were perfect and not a sound at night.
It’s walkable to great cafes and bakeries (checkout Bee kind Bakery). Their shop, that acts as the lobby, is also fantastic, with loads of great gifts.
And the kitchenette was perfect, including a proper tea kettle and pour over setup.

The Mossbrae is one of my top five favorite hotels, anywhere in the world. The room was absolutely beautiful—luxurious yet relaxing furnishings, with so much space I felt I could live there, and I’ve never slept in a more comfortable bed! The proximity to Bee Kind for breakfast and Maddelena for dinner was also a huge plus. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, not even a better price. Such a find! All rooms are gorgeous (I peeked) but go for Rooms 1 or 2 if you’d like a little extra space. You will NOT be disappointed!

Such a special little hotel. Each room is unique, and mine was spacious with a great bathtub, cozy sitting area, and super comfortable bed—I slept really well.
I loved the trust-based honor system in the shop, and it’s dog-friendly, which is a big plus.
And being in Dunsmuir, the tap water is amazing. This place alone is worth the trip.
Would definitely stay again.
