I’ve been here many times, and the food has always been consistently delicious. My favorite dish is the Spicy Hotate ramen and Garlic knockout —it’s full of flavor and one of the best items on the menu. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and provide excellent service. I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I ordered the Vegan Garlic Knockout ramen and the broth is one of the best I have had in the USA. I highly recommend it. I also loved the enoki chips with the pepper sauce. Please be prepared to wait for at least 30 minutes, but the wait will definitely be worth it.

Best Ramen ever! And their starters are amazing too! If you’re visiting Oakland, you must try this. We love the Spicy Garlic Ramen, and the chips. You have to put your name down and there’s usually a wait, but definitely worth it. Plus, there’s tons to do around the restaurant while you wait, a bookstore, a theater, a wine store and ice-cream.

We were excited to try this place, but we had to wait in a long line for a table. After about 70 minutes, we finally got seated. We ordered a variety of dishes, including corn wings, chicken karaage, vegetable tantanmen, kani tantanmen, A5 wagyu shoyu ramen, and their classic Toripaiten wagyu ramen.
The ramen was a standout dish. It was different from other locations and had a unique flavor and savory taste. The chicken karaage was crispy and flavorful, with a spicy sauce that added a nice kick. The A5 wagyu shoyu ramen was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, with a rich and creamy broth.
Overall, we had a great dinner. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting.
