This was warranty work and the technician went above and beyond to get us back and running. He was polite and let us know what was needed.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel obligated to warn others.

I tried to schedule an oven repair with Lake Appliance Repair in Redding and the entire process was handled through an AI system tied to an 866 number. There was no way to reach a local person, and getting anything scheduled was confusing and frustrating from the start. I even had my wife listen in on speaker because it was so difficult to navigate.

We were told the appointment was confirmed for April 1st. I planned my day around it, especially since we’re hosting Easter and needed the oven fixed in time. No one called with a service window the day before, and no one showed up. When I followed up, I was told there was no record of my appointment and that the earliest availability was April 14th, well after I needed the repair.

Texting their “fast response” number didn’t help either. I sent multiple messages with no response until I repeatedly texted just to get someone’s attention. Eventually, a real person called me back, but they weren’t even local. While she was polite, it didn’t change the fact that no technician was coming and I was left scrambling last minute to find another company.

This experience cost me time, added stress, and left me without a working oven right before a major holiday. Relying entirely on AI for scheduling and customer service clearly isn’t working here.

I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
